Great food , all fresh , Lamb steaks are suburb , Their Samos wine is great. Fries and rice were great and the Tzatziki was good. Almost all Greek restaurants give you a free small ouzo shot .. that is something they do not do but it doesn’t matter since Dutch restaurants almost never give free drinks. It should not be a deal breaker. Owners work hard so I understand they cannot spend so much time with their guests , also since they are very season dependent the summer rush is the time to harvest. Staff is friendly as are the owners

If i could, i would give 10 stars out of 5. I would have never thought that i have to come to Texel to find the most authentic greek restaurant in the Netherlands.

Forget any negative reviews you might read here, focus on the good ones instead! We tried quite a few restaurants in de Koog and this was by far the best! The food was delicious, authentic and made with love. The lamb chops (a house speciality!) and the moussaka were just fabulous and served with a delicious greek salad - generous portions and very satisfying - if you're in de Koog, you must eat here!

Ordered takeaway, but had to wait a bit longer than usual due to an error in their ordering system. Staff was great and I was offered a free drink. Food was very delicious and really worth the wait!

Fabulous authentic Greek food, and the service was warm and friendly. This was by far the best meal we had in Texel. We had moussaka and the lamb chops (house specials). Both were very well cooked and presented. The accompanying Greek salad was fresh and delicious…we enjoyed our meal so much we also shared a dessert - cheesecake loves baklava. This was also delicious. I only wish we’d found this restaurant on our first night - we’d have eaten here every night.
